Our Mission

Circle D Wildlife Refuge is a Christian-based wildlife refuge and rehabilitation center located in Vicksburg, MI. We are entirely a non-profit organization that works with deer, small mammals, flighted birds and waterfowl. We also hold many licences, and certifications. These include
U.S Fish/Wildlife and the Michigan DNRE.

Over the course of a year the refuge rescued many animals. While our goal is to rehabilitate and return them to the wild, not all are able to do so. We have a number of full time residents that need our continuous love and care.

In order to provide for the animals it takes a dedicated staff of volunteers. We have several veterinarians that work with us on a daily basis, which are on-site and on-call. Our hospital barn facility allows us to provide many levels of care and medical needs.

With all of the animals we have a constant need for food, new pens and sheltering, and medical supplies. Your donations and memberships help us to make Circle D Wildlife a great habitat and home for our friends.

The Fab Five

Elvis, Skip, Tip, Rocky and Stella are the Fab Five. These are the origina five racoons we cared for and what helped start Circle D.
